Deanna Horner is Executive Vice President, Enterprise DIRECT Strategy at EVERSANA, a leading global provider of commercialization services to the life sciences industry. In this role, she leads enterprise strategy and innovation initiatives that help pharmaceutical manufacturers accelerate patient access, optimize commercialization models, and navigate an increasingly complex healthcare ecosystem through integrated solutions spanning market access, patient services, pharmacy, and technology.

Prior to her current role, Deanna served as Senior Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Waltz Health, an EVERSANA company, where she led clinical and regulatory compliance, supported growth initiatives, and oversaw pharmacy operations and innovative marketplace solutions designed to improve medication affordability and access.

Before joining Waltz Health, Deanna spent nearly eight years at UnitedHealthcare, where she held progressive leadership roles across quality, clinical, and specialty pharmacy programs, culminating in her appointment as Chief Pharmacy Officer for UnitedHealthcare Government Programs. In that role, she oversaw formulary and trend strategy, pharmaceutical pipeline evaluation, competitive intelligence, clinical programs, utilization management, specialty pharmacy strategy, and clinical operations across Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual & Family Plan populations.

Earlier in her career, Deanna spent more than a decade on the provider side of healthcare. She began as a critical care pharmacist at UCSF Medical Center before advancing into leadership positions at UCSF and Tenet Healthcare, where she developed inpatient and outpatient pharmacy programs, led clinical pharmacy services, and supported major clinical informatics and automation initiatives.

Among other professional affiliations, Deanna currently serves on the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) Board of Directors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to optimizing health by advancing the quality of medication use.

Deanna lives in Aurora, Illinois, with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, pickleball, group fitness, reading, supporting the arts, and traveling.
