Step-by-Step Instructions to Claim CPE
For questions on how to claim CPE credit, please email amcplearn@amcp.org
I. Accreditation

AMCP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE).
Successful Completion to Obtain Credit: Pharmacists must attend a session in its entirety, participate in session-specific learning assessments, obtain a session-specific attendance code, complete a session evaluation, and record their participation online at amcplearn.org/code no later than 11:59pm PT on Monday, December 22, 2025. No exceptions can be made after this date.
Integration with CPE Monitor: Information about the amount of CPE credit pharmacists earn is transmitted electronically by AMCP to NABP. Pharmacists who log into CPE Monitor will be able to access information about CPE credit earned approximately 72 hours after successful submission.
CPE Session Types: All CPE sessions are knowledge-based and designed primarily for pharmacists to acquire factual knowledge.
II. Education Independence
ACPE has adopted (and requires all accredited CPE providers to abide by) the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence. These standards require that all CPE activities are planned independent of commercial interest and content is delivered with full disclosure and equitable balance.
As an ACPE-accredited provider, AMCP strictly adheres to the ACPE Standards for Integrity and Independence and other relevant guidelines and standards to ensure the independence of CPE activities. It is AMCP’s intent that all CPE activities be independent, objective, balanced, evidence-based, and free of any commercial bias.
All instructional materials for CPE sessions undergo an intensive review process to ensure compliance with the Standards for Integrity and Independence. Disclosures of relevant financial relationships for all parties involved in the planning or delivery of continuing education sessions will be included in slides and announcements at the beginning of each session. AMCP has a mechanism in place for ensuring that any actual conflicts of interest are resolved before any continuing education session takes place.
Financial Relationship Disclosures
In keeping with ACPE Standards for Integrity and Independence, AMCP requires all persons in position to control the content of a CPE activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships with commercial interests. ACPE defines a commercial interest as any entity producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. (Providers of clinical services directly to patients are not commercial interests). A relevant financial relationship is a financial relationship in any amount occurring within the previous 24 months. Note that ACPE requires relevant financial relationships of spouses or partners to be included for conflict-of-interest disclosure purposes. Relevant financial relationships reported by faculty will be disclosed at the beginning of all CPE sessions.
Financial disclosures will be published in the handout of each session.
Disclosure of Unlabeled Use
Educational activities may contain discussion of published and/or investigational uses of agents that are not indicated by the FDA. AMCP does not recommend the use of any agent outside of the labeled indications. The opinions expressed in educational activities are those of the faculty and do not necessarily represent the views of AMCP. Please refer to the official prescribing information for each product for discussion of approved indications, contraindications, and warnings.
Disclaimer
Participants have an implied responsibility to use the newly acquired information to enhance patient outcomes and their professional development. The information presented in these activities is not meant to serve as a guideline for patient management. Any procedures, medications, or other courses of diagnosis or treatment discussed or suggested in this activity should not be used by clinicians without evaluation of their patient’s conditions and possible contraindications on dangers in use, review of any applicable manufacturer’s product information, and comparison with recommendations of other authorities.
Grievance Policy
AMCP strives to produce quality educational programming that is free of bias and commercialism. We encourage attendees to convey to AMCP information regarding programming that appears to contain bias or overt commercialism. It is AMCP’s policy to address any issues relating to educational programming content or quality immediately. Should any registrant be dissatisfied with the quality of the continuing education programming offered at an AMCP meeting, a request in writing must be submitted to education@amcp.org within five days of the conclusion of the program for consideration of a refund of registration fees.
