AMCP Foundation Honors Judith A. Cahill as the 2023 Steven G. Avey Awardee
News: The AMCP Foundation has posthumously awarded the 2023 Steven G. Avey Award to Judith A. Cahill, former CEO of AMCP, for her sustained and exemplary service to the practice of pharmacy. Cahill's legacy includes creating the Pharmacy Quality Alliance, the AMCP Format for Formulary Submissions, and championing the passing of the Medicare Modernization Act and the Affordable Care Act.

UF College of Pharmacy Team Finishes in Top Five of AMCP Foundation P&T Competition
In the news at UF College of Pharmacy: A team of student pharmacists from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy’s Orlando campus advanced to the final round of the National Student Pharmacist Pharmacy & Therapeutics Competition hosted by AMCP Foundation. Only five of the 45 pharmacy colleges submitting entries in the national competition were invited to participate on March 22 in San Antonio.

Machine Learning In Clinical Trials: What Will The Future Hold (And What's Holding Us Back)?
In the News at Clinical Leader: AMCP Foundation also produces a Trends in Health Care report, the latest of which highlighted how payer-owned claims data can assist manufacturers with clinical trial planning. Examples of areas where claims could enhance trial planning included targeting on disease prevalence via geography, investigator profiling with patient counts, and physician profiling for referrals, including patient count and distance from sites.

Carroll Fund Launched: Support Future Pharmacists
News: The AMCP Foundation has proudly opened a memorial fund with support of the Carroll family to honor Cathy A. Cathy’s legacy of interdisciplinary leadership and AMCP service.
