Cahill Fund Donors

AMCP Foundation recognizes the remarkable life and achievements of former CEO Judith A. Cahill. With the support of her family and in collaboration with AMCP past presidents, AMCP Foundation opened this memorial fund to support initiatives that inform the public about managed care pharmacy, and other AMCP Foundation purposes. As the first CEO of AMCP, Judy led the organization for more than 15 years. She was crucial in guiding AMCP during the passing of the Medicare Modernization Act and the launch of Medicare Part D. She also championed AMCP as it supported and provided insight for the landmark Affordable Care. 

Judy's unwavering dedication to advancing patient care throughout her over two decades in managed care was unmatched. She will be fondly remembered as a trailblazing friend, colleague, and leader who shattered barriers and implemented meaningful improvements in managed care pharmacy. 

With Judy’s prior experience in the health plan world, she brought a focus on evaluating and measuring quality – which was not yet a focus of managed care pharmacy. Judy dedicated her career to improving the quality of medication management and use across health care settings.
