AMCP Foundation Internships & Research Projects
We welcome organizations, corporations, manufacturers, and other entities to partner with AMCP Foundation to advance insights and develop managed care pharmacy leaders. All Foundation sponsors receive extensive recognition, including acknowledgment online, in various publications, in the AMCP mobile app, on signage, and during funded programs. When appropriate, we ask company representatives to deliver brief remarks or provide information for press releases.
Internship Addressing Health Equity: $10,000-$50,000
Our newest internship prioritizes and supports health disparities research and prepares student pharmacists to study and support disparate and vulnerable populations. Interns are exposed to concepts such as social determinants of health (SDOH), chronic disease management, access to care, and vaccination trends/outcomes, focusing on addressing health inequity.

The award includes a one-year AMCP student membership and funds to defray registration, travel, and lodging expenses to attend AMCP national meetings. Funding request: beginning at $25,000 (multiple sponsors)
For 25 years, the AMCP Foundation’s prestigious Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Competition has introduced student pharmacists to the skills involved in developing and managing a well-designed, evidence-based formulary. AMCP Foundation Sock Drive
Grant request: $20,000
Demonstrate your corporate social responsibility and assist the less fortunate in cities hosting the AMCP national meetings. We collect socks because they are one of the most needed but least-donated items at shelters nationwide, and we have hundreds of volunteers who help us change lives. In each city, we partner with a local agency to connect our socks with families in need.
