Intern Application Reviewers
The AMCP Foundation has a variety of unique Managed Care and Association Management learning opportunities available in 2024. Over 200 student pharmacists have completed these programs since 1993. Student pharmacists will gain knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies, employer groups, a public charity, and professional association management.
The AMCP Foundation is seeking application reviewers for the 2024 programs. Several positions are available through AbbVie, Inc., Pfizer, Inc., and Sanofi Genzyme.
What is expected of reviewers? Reviewers should have an understanding or experience in the following:
- Managed Care (landscape/trends/hot topics)
- Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
- Oncology/Specialty Pharmacy
- Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
- Teaching (mentoring/educator/preceptor)
- Management
You must be objective and consistent when reviewing applications.
Reviewers will evaluate approximately 10-20 applications for one of the 2024 internship programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for intern alums to re-engage with the programs and use their experience to review applications for incoming interns.
