Foundation Summer Interns Present Research Projects at AMCP Nexus 2019
Congratulations to all Foundation summer interns who presented their original research at AMCP Nexus 2019. Each intern participating in summer programs sponsored by Allergan Plc; Genentech, Inc.; and Pfizer, Inc. completed a capstone project, which they first presented at AMCP/Foundation headquarters over the summer and later in poster form at Nexus 2019, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, in National Harbor, Md.
Special kudos go out to Shyra Bias, this summer’s Foundation/Pfizer Managed Care Research and Nonprofit Leadership Intern, for presenting her research on digital therapeutics to AMCP Foundation Board of Trustees. Kudos also go out to Amy Hu, a Pfizer managed care intern, for presenting her research on value-based agreements and payer size to members of the AMCP Corporate Council Meeting.
“All of our interns represent the future leadership of managed care pharmacy,” said Foundation Executive Director Paula J. Eichenbrenner, MBA, CAE. “Their research helps advance our profession and ensures that we are able to continue to help millions of patients receive the medications they need at a cost they can afford. We are deeply grateful for the generous support of Allergan, Genentech and Pfizer.”
