After 30 Years, AMCP Foundation Revitalizes Mission
In June, AMCP Foundation celebrated its 30th birthday. As we reflected on three decades of developing leaders and facilitating research, we reinvigorated our mission. The new mission is: to strengthen managed care pharmacy by investing in future-focused research and inspiring the next generation to improve patient health.
“With a strategy emphasizing storytelling, our revamped mission supports AMCP Foundation’s goals to reach more audiences about our efforts on behalf of managed care pharmacy,” said Executive Director Paula J. Eichenbrenner, MBA, CAE. “AMCP Foundation Trustees invite AMCP members to join with them in fulfilling this vision!”
As AMCP Foundation continues to evolve, the new mission restates the organization’s purpose in a modern and aspirational tone while complementing our tagline, “Developing leaders. Enhancing health.” We clearly support the new AMCP mission, which is: to improve patient health by ensuring access to high-quality, cost-effective medications and other therapies. This is the final step in the rebranding.
