AMCP Foundation 2021 Best Poster Competition Recipients 

AMCP Foundation and CVS Health announced the virtual Best Poster Award recipients at AMCP 2021. In Denver, CO at AMCP Nexus 2021, the Foundation and CVS Health hosted an in-person Competition. Authors presented cutting-edge research where Best Poster judges evaluated their research based on scientific merit, evidence that the research conducted was innovative and practical, strength and clarity of conclusions, and knowledge of the subject matter.

The AMCP Foundation and CVS Health is honored to recognize recipients of the 2021 AMCP Foundation Best Poster Awards at AMCP 2021 and AMCP Nexus 2021.

AMCP Nexus 2021 Recipients

	Best Student Pharmacist Poster: Na Young Kim, PharmD Candidate and Andy Kim, PharmD, MBA Candidate, Shenandoah University, Bernard J. Dunn, School of Pharmacy; "Effect of Mental Health Impairment and Sociodemographic Factors on Likelihood of Polysubstance Stimulant Use."
	Best Student Pharmacist Poster (Honorable Mention): Ibrahim A. Younis, PharmD, BPharm, Western University of Health Sciences;  "Impact of Biologics on Health-Related Quality of Life Outcomes in Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis."
	Best Resident or Fellow Poster: Jessica S. Jay, PharmD, Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Pharmacy;  "The Cost-Effectiveness of Pharmacist-Physician Collaborative Care Model vs. Usual Care on Time in Target Systolic Blood Pressure Range in Patients with Hypertension from the Payer Perspective."
	Best Graduate Student Poster: Zasim Siddiqui, MS, PhD Candidate, West Virginia University, School of Pharmacy;  “Budget Impact of Brolucizumab in Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration: A US Payer Perspective Based on Manufacturer and Pro Re Nata Guidelines.”

AMCP 2021 Virtual Recipients

	Best Student Pharmacist Poster: Arvind Katta, PharmD Candidate, Northeastern University, School of Pharmacy;  "Hospital Outcomes Associated with Congestive Heart Failure Among Patients with Bladder Cancer in the U.S."
	Best Resident or Fellow Poster: Nicholas Friedlander, PharmD, Prime Therapeutics;  “Multiple Sclerosis Disease Modifying Drugs: Expenditure, Utilization, and New Start Trends among 15 Million Commercially Insured Members.”

Best Poster Award recipients receive a $500 prize, a one-year AMCP Membership, complimentary registration to AMCP Nexus 2021, and an engraved plaque.
