AMCP Foundation Elects New Officers, Installs 2021-22 Board

In May, AMCP Foundation elected the following officers, who will serve two-year terms and lead our 2021-2022 Board of Trustees.
- President: Matthew W. Hurlburt, MHA, interim head of Global Healthcare Innovation at Pfizer
- Vice President: Annesha White, PharmD, MS, PhD, Associate Dean for Assessment and Associate Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Pharmacy
- Treasurer: Alan J. Arville, Esq., Member, Epstein Becker Green
New President Matt Hurlburt has served on the AMCP Foundation Board for several years. “AMCP Foundation’s mission is more vital than ever due to the rapidly evolving health care landscape and the need for influential, respected thought leader organizations to help shape meaningful change,” he said. “I am excited to lead the Board as we harness the power of research and double down on our efforts to prepare the next generation of health care leaders who will make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.”
Hurlburt currently serves as the interim head of Global Healthcare Innovation at Pfizer, where he has spent more than 25 years, most recently as the Global Access Transformation Lead. He is focused on building an innovative capability designed to identify and create new access and pricing models that will meet the evolving demands of a rapidly transforming health care landscape across the globe.
The new officers are joined on the 2021-22 Board by Trustees Allan J. Chernov, MD; Mona Chitre, PharmD; Christopher V. Goff, Esq.; and Summerpal Kahlon, MD. AMCP Foundation Executive Director Paula J. Eichenbrenner, MBA, CAE and AMCP CEO Susan A. Cantrell, RPh, CAE also serve as Secretary and Chair of the Board, respectively.
As we congratulate our newly elected officers, we thank Immediate Past President Christopher V. Goff, Esq., CEO and General Counsel of Employers Health, and 2015-21 Vice President Kathleen Moreo, RN, BC, BSN, BHSA, CCM, CDMS Founder, PRIME® Education, LLC. Chris and Kathleen brought a tireless energy and expertise to these critical leadership roles, which were made even more complex as the pandemic necessitated shifts in AMCP Foundation programs.
Moreo is retiring from the Board, as is Mary C. Young, MHPA, CEBS and Susan Shiff, PhD, MBA. AMCP Foundation extends our appreciation for their contributions in service of our organization.
