AMCP Foundation Introduces HBCU Students to Managed Care at AMCP Nexus
AMCP Foundation is proud to award Sochima Oriaku and Ada Oyeka HBCU Travel Awards this fall. Sochima and Ada each received $1,500 to defray expenses to attend AMCP Nexus 2023 in Orlando, Fla., and a one-year AMCP student membership.
Our newest fund, launched in spring 2023, supports students pursuing a PharmD at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). HBCU Travel Awards given for AMCP national meetings provide the opportunity for tomorrow’s pharmacists to network with industry leaders, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and gain valuable insights into managed care pharmacy.
