Matt Hurlburt currently serves as Head, Global Healthcare Innovation Center at Pfizer where he is focused on building an innovative capability designed to identify and create new access and pricing models that will meet the evolving demands of a rapidly transforming health care landscape across the globe. This function creates access hypotheses and performs in market experiments those hypotheses with customers in a manner that is designed to deliver rapid insights that enable effective solutions.
In his prior two roles, Matt served as the Global Health and Value Lead for North America and led Pfizer’s Customer Marketing Group.
With over 25 years at Pfizer, Matt has held various leadership positions in sales and marketing and is adept at identifying solutions that best demonstrate the value of medicines while meeting the demands of the market.
Matt has demonstrated a passion for fulfilling Pfizer’s commitment to expanding access to reliable, affordable health care around the world. Throughout his career, Matt has been recognized as a motivational leader, was a recipient of the CEO Bill Steere Leadership and Pfizer Great Leader awards and was a member of the Pfizer Global Leader Council.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Matt was an officer in the 101st Airborne Division where he served with distinction and received a Meritorious Service Medal and a Bronze Star for combat operations in Desert Storm. He received his BS of Finance from Marquette University and his Master of Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
